A Product that Deserves the Hype

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

After never really being happy with any cleanser that I had used before I decided to take the plunge and try out the hyped up Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I'd heard so many good things about this product that I thought it was well worth a try. I was on a little city break in Liverpool for my boyfriend's birthday when I popped into Boots to see if they had the Rimmel lip liner in East End Snob (they did and that was purchased too) when I spotted the Liz Earle counter, I wandered over for a little browse and to see how much the Cleanse and Polish was, for some reason I had always expected it to be a lot more expensive than what it was and on this weekend they had a special offer on where I also received another product free which was an added bonus. The lady at the counter was so lovely, she really knew her stuff and was so friendly, she showed me what to do with the product on my hand and how best to wash it off and as soon as she washed it off I could feel how soft it left my skin, I bought it and I haven't looked back since.

I first tried it when I took my makeup off in the hotel that evening, I took my makeup off with it as the lady at the counter had shown me, massaging it in on dry skin and then using the muslin cloth with warm water on the take it off. I'm not usually one to talk skincare or makeup to my boyfriend as like most men he isn't interested but I remember making him feel how soft my skin was after taking it off. He didn't really notice a difference but I knew there was one because my skin has never felt that soft after taking my makeup off. This is one of the reasons why I love the Cleanse and Polish, it feels like there's added moisturiser in it when I don't think there is. Most of the time after I've removed my makeup with a different cleanser my skin feels tight and I want to moisturise straight afterwards but when I use this I don't have that feeling at all.

Another thing that I've noticed when using this is that my skin has been looking and feeling really healthy, I've been having fewer breakouts when using the Cleanse and Polish which I'm always happy about. I also find because one side of the muslin cloth is a little rough it really helps to exfoliate my skin so I have fewer dry patches. I have no complaints about the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and I would recommend it to all my friends.
