Half-Way Through

I cannot believe that I'm now halfway through my time at university, I don't feel like I know enough to think that next year I'll be completing my dissertation, I had to use spell-checker to even find out how to spell the word, never mind write 10,000 words on an experiment I have to devise myself! I need to stop talking about it now, I'm having a panic just talking about it!

I've learnt so much whilst I've been at Uni, I've made the most amazing friends that I know I will keep in touch with, I've managed to do all my own washing *pats self on back for being a proper grown up* and I've found out that the best thing about living away from home is being able to do my own food shop! I thought I would be really unhealthy but I'm actually not, I buy lots of fruit and I'm even eating more fish at uni than I ever did at home!

By Thursday I'll be able to say that next year I'll be (hopefully) finishing my degree and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life (ideas are welcome), I'm also turning 20 in 2015, I'll no longer be a teenager (and therefore can't pretend that because I'm under 20 I'm still a child) and I'll be half-way to forty; something I've happily annoyed my friends by saying but now I think about it I would like to stay 19, it's a nice age to be, no one expects too much of me but I can still drink and drive although definitely not at the same time.

This year has been pretty great for me, I started the year seeing Taylor Swift at the O2 in London with one of my best friends, started emhasrednails and kept up writing new posts reasonably well, I also got an amazing camera that has been well loved and even after having it for 6 months I'm still learning the basics of how to use it, I finished my first year of uni, got a new job that I enjoy and can go back to when I'm home, been to Greece and had the best holiday ever. I was lucky enough to be taken to London by my boyfriend and we went to the Harry Potter Studios. I started my second year at uni and I seem to be doing better than last year as well as enjoying it more (fingers crossed that I can keep this up), I joined the gymnastics society at uni and even though I'm not very good I'm learning something new and by joining I've made lots of new friends. 2014 has been a good year for me, I hope 2015 is the same.

Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you in 2015! Happy New Year!

P.S. I hope you like the picture, my Auntie got it for her secret Santa at work and I love it! It isn't relevant but I just had to share it with you!
