Summer Series - Nails

Ciate Nails

After Christmas I got the Ciate Nail Advent calender and it was a very worthwhile buy, I now have so many mini nail varnishes that I still haven't got through them all but I'm well on my way. These are a few of my favourite colours for summer. First is Hopscotch - a lovely orange colour which is one of my flat mates favourites, next is Ferris Wheel which is a lovely baby blue colour and is so easy to wear. Finally is Play Date, a vibrant bright pink that was a favourite in June. These Ciate nail varnishes are perfect for taking on holiday as they are so small so you could take a couple if you fancied a change mid holiday.

Barry M Nails

I've been a lover of Barry M nail varnishes for years, they have some amazing colours and they have the lasting power too. I love Sour Apple which is a Nail Effects varnish, applied over a pale nude or white is lovely with this one. The Gelly Hi Shine nail varnishes are great for summer because as said in the name they have a lot of shine. My favourite part of these Gelly varnishes is that they are good with just one coat. Here I have Passionfruit and Green Berry.

No7 and 17 Nails

As you can see I love the pinks and corals, here I have No7 Gel-Look Shine in Hotting Up which is similar to Ciate Play Date. 17 Lasting Fix polish in Tropical Island is a bright orange with a slight shimmer in it, I haven't worn this in a while but when I was rummaging through my nail varnish collection I found it and I realised how lovely this colour is. The final nail varnish is No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Cheeky Chops, this is a pale pink that is another easy colour to wear , this is one of my go-to varnishes that if I can't decide what colour to go for it will probably end up being this.

Have you tried any of these? What are your favourite nail polishes for summer?
