Haul time!

L'Oreal True Match foundation, Garnier Miracle cream, Barry M Gelly Nail Varnish, No7 Nail Varnish, Eyeliner

So as you can see I've been doing a little bit of shopping... just a little! However I would like to point out that this isn't all one shop, it has been done over a good month or so but I've got to the point where it was enough to show you what I was spending my pennies on, well this is it!

The first thing I bought were the No7 nail varnishes in Hotting Up and Pink Meringue and I had a No7 voucher to get some money off and then I think I also got the free gift they were doing (I don't think they are still doing this promotion because it was over four weeks ago) I'm wearing Hotting Up at the moment and it's such a lovely summery colour, it has pretty good staying power too and a long lasting nail varnish is a must for a summer holiday as you don't want to spend all your time doing your nails again after cooling off in the pool. I wouldn't recommend Pink Meringue as much unless you want a very pale colour for your nails, I suppose it would be good for people at school or work who want to wear something on their nails but it's subtle enough to go unnoticed.

I then got the Barry M Gelly nail varnish in Greenberry. This is another lovely summery colour, it does chip a bit and I'm not sure about the formula, its thin with just one coat but is then too thick with two coats but I love the colour so I will be trying it again.

I was in London and decided that I needed a bit of a change in my makeup so I purchased Garnier Miracle Skin Cream and after using it a couple of times I really like it, I'll be doing a full blog post on it soon when I have used it more.

Today I still wasn't happy with how my foundation was looking (not the Garnier Miracle Skin Cream) so I popped into Boots and got the L'Oreal True Match foundation in the lightest and second lightest shades as the light one seemed too light for me and I thought mixing the two together would be a good idea and I've seen that both Lily Pebbles and Vivianna Does Makeup do this so I hoped it would work for me too. I tested the two out on my hand and it does seem like a very watery foundation but this might be were I was going wrong with foundation as all my previous ones have been quite thick. This is another one that I'll try out more and get back to you.

The last product I got today was free (well it was 3 for 2 at Boots so when I got the True Match Foundations I got this free) and it is the L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim, I tested this out too when I got home and it looks like it's going to be a good 'un. I love liners that are like felt tips, they just work really well for me. The only thing that might not be as good as previous liners is it doesn't seem very black and bold, I like a thin line but it has to be very black, however I only did a quick practise so I might be very wrong about it.

What new products have you been buying?

Ta ta for now

    1. It's a really nice cream to use, it's surprising when it comes out of the tube and its a white colour but then it turns a bit of an orangy colour, don't worry it doesn't look orange when you've rubbed it in, I think it will be perfect for summer, you should try it! Thanks for reading my blog!

  6. Let us know how you get on with the foundations. I have heard so many good things about the True Match and my Mac isn't in my good books at the moment, so that would be a good read.

Thanks for finding my blog by the way. I watched the first episode of PLL and really wasn't into it, but I've juuust started Desperate Housewives after saving it because I knew I would love it (strange reasoning, I know). I'm sure I will be up to speed in no time. Revenge is pretty hard to keep up with - I've let that one go!

    1. True match is really lovely, it just makes my skin look flawless, hardly any need for concealer either!

Everyone has different tastes, I can see why people don't like pretty little liars, I know a lot of people love desperate housewives though, the first series is so so good! You'll have to keep me updated about what you think of it as you get further in!

      Thanks for reading! X

    1. The Barry M nail varnishes are so good, the colour range is amazing, aww that's such a shame, my local boots is pretty small but they do keep it quite well stocked which is good. I haven't used the Garnier cream or the L'Oreal True Match that much yet but I will be reviewing them when I've used them more. Thanks for reading :) x
